NHS Data Security Protection ToolkitKML Occupational Health has successfully completed the NHS DSP Toolkit and have been advised the we have exceeded the expectations of the assessment.
The Data Security and Protection Toolkit is an online self-assessment tool that allows organisations to measure their performance against the National Data Guardian's 10 data security standards.
All organisations that have access to NHS patient data and systems must use this toolkit to provide assurance that they are practising good data security and that personal information is handled correctly.
This system is subject to ongoing development and will provide KML with a certificate for this assessment presently.
Completion of the DSP Toolkit Assessment took a number of days with assistance from our in-house IT Department Director and our Group GDPR Manager.
Our company is also certified and audited to Cyber Essentials Plus.
KML Occupational Health further underline our commitment to IT Security and Confidential Records Management by using eOPAS Software which is certified to ISO27001 and Cyber Essentials Plus.
We are also registered with the ICO (Information Commissioners Office).
Further client confidentiality is protected by KML being certified and conforming to SEQOHS, CBH (Construction Industry) and RISQS (Rail Industry) standards.
